Trifled Souls Without Solid Wings

She stands amidst herself,
ravaging through broken memories,
singing aloof along the rigid wind.

While waves toddle among the shore
along with her battered soul
and silenced eyes,
she again is awakened by a stir.

A glimmer of light ascends all
and descends none but serenity.

Such light bests all whom takes
and gives back none,
but all whom share shall melt away
into the golden lagoon below
as broken hearts begin to whisper.
