To Mother Across Sundering Skies

Left alone in this vast void of earth
I am
Calling out to thee
Who vanished without a trace
Into the fathomless fathoms of Universe
All too soon
Dear Mother

My vision blurred across these Sundering Skies
Among the countless stars searching for the likes
Of the little golden blossom of thy soul
Peeping serene
And soft through the moonbeams

Repose thee in a peaceful Heaven
Weary heart now at rest
Basked in celestial moonlight
Flooding silver on Elysian Valleys
Where Winter nor its searing squalls
Whose caress thee knew
Long ere thy gleaming dark tresses
Can reach thee no more

Till thee wake again on Earth
Which thee might, but must not
To be weeping
Tossed between wind-driven waves
Of one wild dark ocean of Life
As I am
