That One Autumn Rain

That one autumn rain,
The wet roads,
People hugging themselves under trees…

That one autumn rain,
Umbrellas of different colors,
Still, overall color grey.

That one autumn rain,
The mild breeze and goose bumps.
Strong winds falling on vehicle riders…

That one autumn rain,
The moist air,
Sparse people…

That one autumn rain,
Morose memories,
Sweet memories…

That one autumn rain,
The daydreams of love,
Of the romance they never had.

That one autumn rain,
Perfect for first kisses,
And last meetings.

That one autumn rain,
The wet walk, wet feet,
Fast steps among vistas of green.

That one autumn rain,
I was cold; I didn’t miss the sun,
I didn’t miss me.
