Past It!

Liver spots on sepia skin ,
crinkled, tissue-paper thin.
Eyesight straining,
memory waning,
We barely recall original sin.

Knee joints creaking,
plumbing leaking,
banishing all thoughts
of streaking

Reflexes – once thought
now border on
the catatonic
Age will get us all
in time –
Can I have some parts
Doctor Frankenstein ?
