In God You Trust

A confession. It will be my truth.
So that my spirit may heal and feel the soothe.
To repent to him is what I must do.
To show him I am a child of worthiness too.
To pray for forgiveness for all I have done wrong.
He will gladly take my hand and guide me along.
A past wasted on failure and regret.
“No child” he whispers.
They where lessons and they are not over yet.
You have a destiny child and to fill it you must, but you can’t unless it is in God you trust.

Do you think it could possibly be one of the best new poems of 2014?
