I see her as clear as the clearest day
So pure and beautiful all the same
I see her as if she was lying next to me
Lying still, as still as can be
I watch her to take in her every move
Elegant beauty for the eyes it sooths
I watch her just to make myself smile
Hoping she knows this all the while
She smiles not just with her mouth but her eyes
Lighting up any room along with the skies
She holds my hand in only the way she can
To let me know that I am her man
She is home
