Seasons

Sunny days
Large bouquets
Dragonflies
Days gone by
The innocence in a child’s eye.

Summer air
Rocking chair
Campfire on a cool night
Sunset, what an amazing site.

Tide is coming in
Shovels, pails put in a bin
Fall is on its way
Night creeps in to a shortened day
Fun is done, play is at bay.

Calendar turns fast
Summertime blast
Fall swoons in
Apples in the bin
Sweet smells fill the air
Leaves cracking here and there.

Color palette
Orange, yellow and red
Acorns falling, squirrels being fed
Getting ready for another season
Feeling a little sad for no reason.

Winter comes with many hopes
Snowman, snow days and many slopes
For sledding and having fun
Hot coco when the day is done.

Winter goes by very slow
But soon the first spring mow
The sounds of birds coming back
Ripping open the first seed pack.

Seasons come and go so fast
They never seem to last
Enjoy all the colors and sounds they bring
Winter, summer, fall and spring.
