Peering through the cold clear glass
Into the shaded black sky
The vexation of reality facing in
All that’s felt is distraught,
Confusion, hatred, and rage.
Torment of my empty soul
And the memories
That entangled
The moon lit sky
Were once a dream,
Now they die off
One by one
And are cut down
Slicing every bit of hope
To be harvested to nothing
And thrown away
There’s no blissful thinking
Or unruley thoughts
Not even a shimmer
Or flake of light
To ease my pain
And suffering.
And as I gaze
An amber orange glow
Is seen from afar
A burning fire in this god forsaken world?
Unheard of.
