Growing Dreams

When you’re done with a thought,
Where does it go?
Does it crawl in someone else’s ear?
Does it vanish, disappear?
Does it stay inside your head?
Inside your brain until it’s fed?
And like a plant does it grow?
And become an idea before you know?
Will your head then begin to burst at the seams?
For surely by then, you’’ve grown a dream?
