There are billions of stars
and each one is vitally important to the universe.
They shine together.
The young stars shine with a blinding, brilliant light
And the older stars fade slowly with a soft, beautiful glow.
But every once in a while
a stars light will go out much too soon.
And for just a moment,
All the stars in the entire, vast, endless universe FLICKER
Altogether they flicker for a moment,
So quick you would think you imagined it.
For the light of each star is intricately bound
It is intertwined with the light of all the other stars.
And when one light goes out too soon
A ripple extends to the very corners of the universe.
For that moment
All light is lost.
But if you wait and watch with hope
You will see the stars come back from that flicker
They come back with a combined light that is ten times
brighter than it was before.
They shine with all their energy and with all their love,
For their fallen star
And they never stop.
