For You, Hope

I can see your tiny light
through a thunderstorm.
If your light fades and begins to vanish,
I still see a small glow.
You’re so tiring to chase,
I’m exhausted.
But I still need you don’t leave me,
I’m getting closer,
I can almost touch you,

gone.

Where did you disappear to?
Stop playing games please.
Fine.
I once claimed to need you,
yet you let me down.
I hate you hope, stop lingering.
Although you are the most
painfully beautiful thing in the
world.
