Fair

This is for lungs choke, for lack of Air…
For times I analyze and ask if that was fair…

This is for the Days that come, and the ones that have gone…
For this never-ending longing, to see my Mom…

This is for cold sweats, waking up drenched…
My Life so far and this wait in suspense…
I’m told to move on and not to forget…

Grief will eat you alive, diagnosing myself,
I’m dying inside…
My Father’s alright…
For that I truly am glad, for a minute there, I thought I could be losing my Dad…

My Sister I know how you miss her,
To look you resembles the Angel that God lifted….
Your her splitting image, minus the blond hair and blue eyes…

I look to blue skies, and wish they were grey…
Just like the Song goes “I wish it would rain”.

We were raised to know our worth, do to her…
God saw that his Daughter was hurt, And led her from this Earth…

Even though she is needed here, I know her Pain’s gone…
Mine has increased each year…

I clear my eyes, as I release a tear…

God grant me the Serenity, that I may see it Fair.
