Do Me A Favor

Do me a favor, don’t hold my hand.
Remind me of a time, when you acted like a man.
I’ve fought and cried.
I tied that knot,
But then something died.
You quit on day seventeen,
And suddenly became oh so mean.
Two years we’ve run in circles,
Creating love triangles,
And I’ve felt like a square.
I fought and tried.
I wanted you back,
And all you did was lie.
Your emotions were something we lacked.
It took twenty-four months to get this back.
But now I’m realizing something strange.
You’re not my man.
You are just a boy that needs to change.
